On the Feast of the Visitation (Written on the feast of the Visitiation)

Today in the Catholic Church, we celebrate the Universal feast of the Visitation. Which for those of you that don’t know is when Mary comes to St. Elizabeth
St. Lukes Gospel account is read today 1, 36-56. which we get part of the famous Hail Mary Prayer “Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb”(1, 43)
St. Luke was very familar with the Scriptures in the OT, it should be no surprize that this account parallels the ark of the Covanent account in 2 Sam 6. Where David says … verse 9 “How can the ark of Yahweh come to me?…….St. Luke knowing this……when recording the words from St. Elizabeth from Mary, “How is it that the mother of my Lord comes to me?. In the Bible there are NO coincidences at all.
St. Luke was comparing the Visitation, to David in front of the Arc.The parallels. Mary is the new arc, (Rev 11,19-12,1), because she bore the Word (St. Luke 2, 1), and the old arc had the commandements of Moses (Ex 25).
The point, we should all be filled with the Holy Spirit when greeting Mary as was Elizabeth 🙂 Amen!
