St. John the Baptist, Baldwin Park Spanish Mass (9-25)

The mass went very well. The priest did genuflect in front of the tabernacle. And also there were no liturgical abuses to be seen. Also 2/3rds of the Church was kneeling after the Agnus Dei. (Take that Cardinal Balnoney). Almost nobody recieved in communion in the hand. And there was one kneeler for communion (me). On a liturgical grading scale, this mass gets an “A”

What’s up with the Black robe Dr.?
Well, the black robe is a self-concecration. Which basically, it’s a witness to my faith, and a reminder to live it. (Also in the code of canon law, priests, seminarians and altar boys are allowed to wear the robe, the last which I am….(Thank goodness I take time to read it)). And I believe that more people should do an act such as this. Not simply to take advantage of the code, but also, that we need more witnesses and inspiration in this world. Amen!
